{"id":1895,"date":"2018-04-21T06:34:39","date_gmt":"2018-04-21T06:34:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.blsgroup.com\/?p=1895"},"modified":"2021-07-13T12:33:48","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T12:33:48","slug":"new-european-regulation-eu-2016-425-on-ppe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blsgroup.com\/pt\/nuovo-regolamento-europeo-ue-2016-425-sui-dpi\/","title":{"rendered":"New European Regulation (EU) 2016\/425 on PPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From April 21st 2018, the new EU Regulation 2016\/425 has been in force, replacing the previous Directive 89\/686\/EEC and establishing the requirements for the design and manufacture of personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What changes<\/strong><br \/>\nThe main difference is that the responsibilities for each step along the supply chain of the personal protective device, from the manufacturer to the distribution network, are defined in a more clear and detailed manner.<br \/>\nBLS's products will not undergo any change as they are already regulated by the previous legislation, for they are Category III PPE.<br \/>\nThe change regards the update of the references to the new regulation on all official records related to the device.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Documentation changes<\/strong><br \/>\nStarting from April 21st, the following documents must have an updated reference to the new standard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical data sheets (available on the reserved area of the BLS's website)<\/li>\n<li>Declarations of conformity (available on the reserved area of the BLS's website)<\/li>\n<li>Instructions (Provided with the PPE)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Possible scenarios<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DEVICES PRODUCED BEFORE 21st APRIL 2018<br \/>\nThey can still be sold until 20th April 2019.<\/p>\n<p>PURCHASED PRODUCTS CERTIFIED UNDER THE PREVIOUS DIRECTIVE 89\/686\/EEC<br \/>\nThey may continue to be used until their natural expiry date as shown on the label placed on the package.<\/p>\n<p>THE \"CE\" CERTIFICATE OF THE PRODUCT<br \/>\nIt will continue to be valid until 20th April 2023, unless otherwise indicated or if there are changes to the product itself.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dal 21 aprile 2018 \u00e8 in vigore il nuovo Regolamento UE 2016\/425 sostituisce la precedente Direttiva 89\/686\/CEE e stabilisce i requisiti per la progettazione e la fabbricazione dei dispositivi di protezione individuale (DPI).
