BLS 2600 next Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is an assisted ventilation system for use with a full face mask and dust filter. It provides the user with filtered ambient air and thanks to the constant air flow and the absence of respiratory effort, is the ideal solution for heavy-duty use.
New rechargeable LI-Ion battery. High-performance and lightweight, the battery guarantees a battery life of over 10 hours for optimised comfort. When discharged, simply connect it to the robust and ergonomic connector until the LED on the charger signals.
The innovative management system provides the operator with the following feedback via the 3 coloured LEDs: battery charge status, low battery alarm, flow blockage alarm, filter clogging alarm, charging status. Thanks to this system, a flow rate of 160 l/min is guaranteed, even if the filter is clogged.
The IP certification is an internationally recognised protection standard (IEC standard 60529) issued by International Protection. This certification identifies the resistance of any device to the intrusion of liquids, dust and solids.
The protection code is expressed in IPXX format, where the first number identifies the type of protection from dust and solid objects certified by the device, and the second number the protection from liquids. The BLS PAPR is certified as resistant to dust of any size and in the protection from waves or large jets of water (downpours, fountains, waves).
This device is compatible with BLS 5000 series full face masks with universal connection and silicone face seal (BLS 5400) or thermoplastic rubber (BLS 5150). The corrugated hose connection is inserted at the universal connection EN 148-1. This device is combined with the BLS TMP3 dust filter, which provides high filtration over long periods of time. This filter is protected by an easily removable ring nut and, thanks to a practical anti-water cap, is protected during the decontamination shower.
At the end of use, it is essential to safely remove the PAPR and carry out the decontamination shower, to prevent the user from being contaminated by contaminants when removing the protective device. The DIN cap and filter cap will protect the motor and filter from water.Once this step is complete, simply follow the storage instructions and store all components in the sturdy storage box, which is equipped with four handles, a gasket and a padlock facility.
