Class 3 device
The masks classified in class 3 offer greater resistance to radiant heat and flame. They can be used for firefighting.

Face seal
Available in thermoplastic elastomer (BLS 5150) or silicone (BLS 5400) for improved comfort.

RD40 connection
RD40 thread connection according to EN 148-1, Universal among all respiratory protection devices.

New inner half mask
The half mask has been redisigned to better fit the facial profile and is easily replaceable. It is made of soft TPE, which is non-deformable.

Anti-fog
Designed to avoid fogging on the visor through the control of the cold and hot air flows inside the mask, instead of treatments which can easily be spoiled with use.

Phonic membrane
An aluminium layer, inside the breathing unit of the device (BLS 5400), enables the transmission of vocal sound.

SCRATCH RESISTANT VISOR (Live Visor)
Optical class 1 (EN 166), allows a panoramic visual field without optical distortions. A vitrification treatment on its surface makes it scratch resistant. It is also impact tested: MIL-STD-662F:1997 (V50 ballistic test for armour).

6-POINT HARNESS (Komfort)
Fixed on 6 connection points, BLS 5000 series harness guarantees a highly precise adjustment by distributing the pressure on the face uniformly.
