BLS is at Automechanika 2022

Frankfurt (Germany), September 13th-17th, 2022

For the first time BLS will be at Automechanika, one of the leading international trade fairs for the automotive industry, repair shops and the automotive trade. Like no other trade fair, it represents the entire automotive aftermarket value chain. On this occasion BLS will be in the company of 4 other leading Italian companies in the automotive sector.

IVAT, PRODYVER, VABER and CBR: together, they will present an entire Made in Italy industry offering with the IPE Group.

The exhibition

Automechanika this year boasts 4,987 exhibitors from 76 countries. Thirty-nine per cent of this year's visitors are visiting Automechanika for the first time: a total of 134,622, arriving from 184 different countries.

This fair represents the most important international meeting point for the industry.

New technologies and innovations are at the heart of the industry event, which has been transformed and renewed very rapidly in recent years. New technologies and concepts for tomorrow's mobility will be exhibited and discussed on the leading international platform for the automotive aftermarket, including the 'Innovation4Mobility' showcase and the captivating specialist presentations of the Automechanika Academy. Other areas of focus at the September event include training and networking.

Not only will visitors be able to find innovative solutions for these sectors, but they will also have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge during presentations and panel discussions.

Events on the agenda

• Supply Chain Management Day at Automechanika - The effort to ensure maximum cost efficiency and service quality does not only concern OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), but the entire automotive aftermarket sector, which faces the same challenges today in meeting climate and environmental targets.  These topics are being addressed at the first Automechanika Supply Chain Management Day, an interactive event on 15 September (in the 'Europa' hall in Hall 4).

"After a long dry spell," explains Olaf Mußhoff, "the opportunity to talk in person is extremely important for our customers."

• Networking and know-how transfer - On the first day of the fair, the first CEO Breakfast was organised, an event featuring talks by Mika Häkkinen and Mark Gallagher. This event provides an opportunity to meet top management and representatives of the independent automotive parts industry associations in person.

The two Formula One professionals talk about fast-moving technologies, agile and lean management and team spirit. 

• Body & Paint Championships - The motto of this year's Body & Paint Championships is 'Mobility in Transition', featuring talented painters from all over the world. The event is sponsored by Axalta, BASF Coatings/Glasurit and SATA. The award ceremony takes place on 16 September at 2 p.m. in Hall 11.
