Update of the air extraction valve developed by Narvalo with BLS, designed to ensure optimal breathing comfort.
Active Shield technology is the intelligent ventilation system integrated into BLS Zer0 32 Active filtering facepieces.
The system uses an intelligent fan that optimizes airflow inside the mask, helping to reduce heat, humidity and CO₂ concentration.
This system improves breathing comfort during the use of respiratory protective equipment, especially during prolonged work activities.
To further enhance device performance, an update to the Active Shield electronic valve has been introduced, designed to optimize energy management and increase battery life.
Active Shield is designed to operate in an automatic and intuitive way.
The fan activates automatically with the user’s first breath and adjusts its speed according to the breathing rate. This system maintains an adequate airflow inside the mask without requiring manual adjustments.
The device button must be used exclusively to switch the device on.
Once activated, the fan operates fully automatically.
This approach simplifies the use of the device and reduces the need for user intervention.
The update also introduces intelligent management of usage pauses.
When the facepiece is removed from the face:
after about 10 seconds, the fan automatically stops
the device enters ECO mode
ECO mode reduces energy consumption when the device is not in use.
If the device remains inactive, it automatically switches off after 30 minutes.
This feature prevents unnecessary battery consumption and improves overall energy efficiency.
The update also includes a new higher-capacity battery.
The new battery offers:
1000 mAh capacity
up to 5 hours of operating time
UN 38.3 certification
The UN 38.3 certification ensures compliance with international requirements for the safe transport of lithium batteries.
The electronic valve update introduces several improvements for the user:
