The ready-to-use half mask
Ready to use without maintenance
No need to fit filters.
No need to change them.
It is a half mask that combines the simplicity of a disposable device with the high level of protection of reusable devices. The extreme ease of use makes it a quick and unique product. This half mask is ready to use and requires no maintenance. Once the filters are exhausted, the product is designed to be replaced.
Why choose combined filters?
This series is excellent against particulates and gases. The filters inside are called 'combined' because they serve to protect the user when both gases/vapours and particulates are present by combining a gas filter with a particulate filter. Combined filters are built with two sections, the first one with a pleated medium for particles filtration, the second one with activated carbons, for gases and vapour protection. Activated carbons used by BLS are top quality and produced without using toxic additives.
The new Drop-Off System
The innovation of BLS's drop-off system consists in the quick and easy removal and lowering of the half-mask, without the need to move the head harness. From the ergonomics to the visual field, from the high-comfort materials to the innovative drop-off system, this half-mask is unique in its quality and efficiency.

Which model to choose from this series?
BLS 8000next series is available in three models that vary as the filter configuration changes.
In order to choose the right protection, it is important to follow the instructions for selecting the most appropriate PPE, given in the article Selezione del DPI più adeguato on our blog. According to the European standard EN 14387:2004+A1:2008, the protection of carbon filters against gases and vapours foresees three classes, each with different durability, weight and protection (class 1 low, class 2 medium, class 3 high)
As the filter capacity increases, so does its durability.
EN 143 and EN 14387 standards associated with dust filters also provide three classes of protection based on filter efficiency. The standard assigns increasing protection as the filtering efficiency increases: P1, P2, P3.
In protection against gases and vapours, the nominal protection factor (NPF) is given by the type of mask combined with the filter used.
The three models in this series are BLS8100next, BLS8400next and BLS8600next. The differences in protection for each model are listed below.
BLS 8100next
A1P2 R D protection
It is effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65° (class 1) and against particulates (class P2). The nominal protection factor is 12*TLV.
BLS 8400next
ABEK1P3 R D protection
It is effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°, inorganic gases and vapours, acid gases, ammonia and derivatives (class 1) and against particulates (class P3). The nominal protection factor is 33*TLV.
BLS 8600next
A2P3 R D protection
It is effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65° (class 2) and against particulates (class P3). The nominal protection factor is equal to 33*TLV.
Every protection has its own color.
What's yours?
When will the filters be used up?
The service life of the filter depends on its protection class and on the pollutant concentration. The protective layer over the filter material prevents deterioration, preserving the life of the filters. This enables the half mask to avoid the absorption of splashes and the formation of lint that could contaminate the working environment (e.g. during painting work).
