Focus | BLS 8000next

BLS 8000next series half-masks are ready to use, with no need for maintenance or filter replacement.

SIMPLICITY OF A DISPOSABLE,
PROTECTION OF A REUSABLE

The BLS 8000next series of thermoplastic rubber double-filter half-masks are ready to use, without the need for maintenance or filter replacement. Once the filtering capacity of the device is exhausted, it is replaced entirely. The device is designed to be replaced when the filters run out, combining the simplicity of disposable devices with the high level of protection of reusable devices.

Its properties are excellent for protection against particulate matter and gases.

What makes this mask perform so well?

BLS 8000next half-masks offer gas and vapour filtration with high-quality activated charcoal, free of toxic additives such as Hexavalent Chromium, ensuring excellent safety performance.
The face mask is made of thermoplastic elastomer that is crushproof and durable. The half-mask is designed for optimal fit and a wide field of vision, reducing pressure on the face and interference with the field of vision thanks to the low filter placement and reduced protrusion.
The mask is also equipped with adrop-off system that allows quick and easy release without removing the headpiece. If necessary, the quick drop-off system can be easily deactivated.
The integrated filters are protected by an external mesh that prevents wear and absorption of splashes, and prevents the release of fibres, ideal for painting activities.
The P3 filters, found in the BLS 8400next and BLS 8600next models, are extracted against nanoparticles down to 0.001 microns.

What are the advantages of combined filters?

The combination filters in BLS half-masks protect against gases, vapours and particulates by means of a dual cartridge: one with pleated filter material for particulates and the other with activated charcoal for gases and vapours, without toxic additives.
According to EN 14387:2004+A1:2008, there are three classes of protection for carbon filters (1 low, 2 medium, 3 high) and three classes for dust filters (P1, P2, P3) based on filter efficiency.

The lifetime of the filter depends on the class and concentration of the pollutant. The protective micro mesh prevents wear and absorption of splashes, preserving filter life and preventing contamination in the working environment, such as during painting.

Which model best suits your needs?

The BLS 8000next series is available in three models, all made of thermoplastic rubber. Each model offers a different protection class to meet different requirements:

  • BLS 8100next with protection A1P2 R D: effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65° (class 1) and against particulates (class P2). The nominal protection factor is equal to 12*TLV.
  • BLS 8400next with ABEK1P3 R D protection: effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°, inorganic gases and vapours, acid gases, ammonia and derivatives (class 1) and against particulates (class P3). The nominal protection factor is 33*TLV.
  • BLS 8600next with protection A2P3 R D: effective against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65° (class 2) and against particulates (class P3). The nominal protection factor is equal to 33*TLV.
