BLS 4000next S: the new updated version is now available

The new version of the BLS 4000next half-mask, in silicone, is now available

BLS, always focused on the quality of its products and their continuous improvement in terms of performance and comfort, introduces a new edition of the well-known BLS 4000next S half mask in soft hypoallergenic silicone.

Below are the new features introduced:

1. Available in 3 sizes

The previous version in two sizes was able to meet the fitting needs of over 90% of European, Asian and African facial shapes. With the introduction of a third size, we have redesigned the profile of the M/L size, now M, in a way that is barely perceptible but significant. This size now provides the best fit for the majority of faces, while sizes S and L make it possible to meet the needs of
particularly small or particularly large facial profiles, thereby satisfying the protection requirements of all users.

The already excellent fit test performance of BLS 4000next S half mask is therefore further improved, making the device suitable for all facial shapes.

The size of the half mask is marked on the front part of the facepiece.

2. New elastic head harnes

The new elastic head harness is more resistant and features lower elongation than the previous version, ensuring better stability of the facepiece on the face, even when using combined filters, which are larger and heavier

3. Improved drop-off system and related deactivation system

The locking of the drop-off system has been optimised to prevent even the slightest sliding of the facepiece along the elastic head harness when the user prefers to deactivate the drop-off function. The grooves on the lower part of the front cover allow the elastic band to be firmly secured, preventing the facepiece from slipping.

4. Sweat drainage hole

In high temperatures, or during prolonged use, sweat may often accumulate inside the half mask. To minimise discomfort, we have added a sweat drainage hole at chin level, which helps evacuate excess moisture.

As in the previous version, an embossed arrow is visible on the body of the half mask, near the filter connection. This makes filter assembly intuitive, as a corresponding arrow on the filter body indicates the attachment point to the facepiece and the direction in which the filter must be rotated

BLS 4000next KIT

At the same time, our range of kits, consisting of BLS 4000next S half mask and filters,
has been rationalised and will be offered only in size M, as follows:

In this case too, once the dual-size kits have run out, they will be supplied in the new universal size M version.

BLS 4000next: versions and filters

BLS 4000next R half mask in TPE remains unchanged in terms of size range, which continues to include two sizes, while incorporating the same improvements to the elastic head harness and drop-off locking system.

The codes remain unchanged:

BLS 4000next S and R half masks are equipped with b-lock bayonet connections and must be used with BLS Series 200 filters, as well as the BLS 5600 and BLS 5700 twin-filter full face masks.
