Like last year, Fabio Quartararo arrives at the Mugello circuit leading the championship standings. Last year's brilliant victory at the Italian GP was a boost of confidence for the Frenchman.
Mugello is considered one of the most beautiful circuits on the calendar, thanks to its mix of climbs and descents and the variety of fast and slow corners. The Tuscan circuit, 5245 metres long, hosted the first MotoGP event in 1976 and became a fixture in 1991.
The Italian GP is famous for its great atmosphere and is said to be a 'must-see event' for motorbike fans.
The race
Fabio Quartararo gives us adrenaline-pumping moments without neglecting safety, thanks to his winning performance at the Mugello International Circuit. He increased his championship lead to eight points. The rider riding the Yamaha YZR-M1 conquered a magnificent second place of which we at BLS could not be more proud.
We are champions in safety too, because for years we have been fighting to offer the excellence of Made in Italy in the field of respiratory protection with consistently high safety standards for individual health.
Together with the entire Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team we guarantee the protection of the riders in the race by maintaining the high level of each performance.
El Diablo strikes again giving us a podium position on the fourth lap of the circuit. Yesterday's result sees Quartarato remain at the top of the championship standings, increasing his total score to 122 points.
The champion describes his Mugello performance as follows: "The champion describes his Mugello performance as follows: "That was, I think, one of the best races of my career. Of course, I would have preferred to win, but I’m pleased to be on the podium after a tough race like this one. I made a good start and did good overtakes, despite sliding with the front and rear. Before the race I wasn’t feeling that good on the bike. During the race it was not perfect, but it was better, and I could feel where the limit was. I love riding my bike, I was having a lot of fun, and I could get a really good result. We did a massive job!"
Ci diamo appuntamento alla prossima gara per il Gran Premio Monster Energy de Catalunya al Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona, che si terrà il 5 giugno.
BLS is with you
on the front line for safety.
